The intelligently controlled waste gate sits directly in the saw. The shaft is precisely harmonized with the performance of the rapid cross-cut saws. Heavy overhead feed rollers ensure secure, trouble-free transport through the OptiCut. However, different wood qualities have different requirements. That is why WEINIG offers the right surface coating for the feed rollers to match the specific application. These coatings can be quickly changed in the OptiCut high-speed saws - similar to the tires of a Formula 1 racing car. This means that rough and planed surfaces can be processed in the same shift without problems. Gummed rollers are easy to clean - for reliable high performance day after day.

The length measuring method used in the Dimter Line measures directly on the workpiece surface – independent of slippage. This creates the prerequisites for exact cross-cutting: The beginning and end of the wood, the positions of the marked defects and quality areas are detected very accurately. The result: less waste due to shorter trim cuts. Exact lengths (up to ±0.8mm) due to positioning support. Perfect lengths without defects.

The OptiCut performs cross-cutting at breathtaking speed. And it knows all of the cut lengths. So it’s only logical to subsequently sort the workpieces by length, quality, etc. Particularly with order-specific production. This simplifies logistics and saves on personnel.
